John Browning Alter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2022, at the age of 74, John Browning Alter (DeWitt, Arkansas), born in Little Rock, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gwen Browning Alter and Charles Rufus Alter; and his brother Jim Alter. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Alter; his children, Johnette Alter (Scott Meeker), Brie Alter (Matt Duvall), Amelia Farmer (Ross Farmer) and Spencer Alter; his stepdaughters, Brittany Briggs (Cole Briggs) and Kristen Amick (Adam Amick); his sister Dena Spears (Ronnie Spears); and his grandchildren, Micah Alter-Meeker, Graham Alter-Meeker, Charlie Duvall and Cameron Duvall.
