He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Emerson and Ella Emerson; and his daughter Dikina Hoelzeman. He is survived by: his wife Hope; his children, Kelli Koen (Brad) of DeWitt, Deuce LaCotts (Leah) of DeWitt, Bart LaCotts of DeWitt, Summer Boyd (Josh), Jessie Emerson (Andrea) and Tyler Emerson (Tiffany); and his siblings, Jim Emerson (Betty) of Batesville, John Emerson of DeWitt and Judy Conley (Garland) of DeWitt. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; one great grandchild.
