She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Beaton and Lou Etta Beaton; and her daughter Melany McCord. She is survived by: her husband John McCord; her grandson Noah Smith; and her siblings, Vickie Booth of Marion, Mike Beaton of Jonesboro and Jeff Beaton of DeWitt.
