He is survived by: his wife Carol Paxton; his children, James Andrew Paxton II of Rison, AR and Chasity Hackney (Chris) of Cabot, AR; and his siblings, Katherine Davidson of DeWitt, AR, Blanche Arthur of Holliston, MA, Betty Ward of DeWitt, AR., Norma Childers (Jerry) of DeWitt, AR., Brenda Fread of DeWitt, AR., Bob Paxton (Susan) of DeWitt, AR. and Bill Paxton (Tina) of DeWitt, AR.. He is also survived by two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
