We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2021, at the age of 79, Georgene Sloate of DeWitt, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelton Wright and Pearl Flemings Wright; her spouse Loyal Sloate; her grandsons, Rance and Braxton Sloate; and her siblings, Dewey Wright, Leroy Wright, Ulyess Wright, Luthelma Wright, Eunice Mannis, Jowanda Wright and Youlonda King.
She is survived by: her brother Bob Whitman; her sons, Darren Sloate of Brinkley and Lamar Sloate (Jacole) of Pine Bluff; her grandsons, Kortlan and Camden Sloate of Pine Bluff; and her sisters, Evon Mannis of DeWitt, Sarah Keaton of DeWitt and Florene Whaley of Springdale. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, close friends, other family members as well as the many children.
