He was predeceased by: his parents, Mayola Olive Stephens Wimpy and Walter Anderson Archer II; his stepfathers, William O. Driskell and George Norman Wimpy; his brother Walter Anderson Archer III (Sonny); his sister-in-law Betty Lois Archer; and his granddaughters, Sara and Greta.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Lyon; his daughter Kimberly Taylor; his son-in-law Stanley of DeWitt; his grandsons, Tanner Adams of Gillett and Garrett Taylor of Monticello; his stepgrandchildren, Courtney Bisswanger (Bud) and Lindsay Nugent (Blake) of DeVille; his sisters, Winkle Stone (Mike) of Redfield and Kathleen Godwin of Stuttgart; and also, Cooper of DeWitt, Liam and Hayes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (322 W 1st St, DeWitt, AR 72042-1904).
