He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Claude Hudson and Gertie Tharp Hudson Lyles; his wife Ruby Hudson; his daughter Paula Hudson; and his siblings, Lonnie, James, Randy, Larry Hudson, Maxine Hudson, Shirley Fox and Nancy Hunt.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Ann Thompson of Loraine, OH; his sister Judy Cox of DeWitt; and his close friend Immagene Reed. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
