He was predeceased by: his parents, Almond Curtis Barnhill and Nellie Barnhill; his brothers, Morris and Daniel Barnhill; and his grandson Jordan Barnhill Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Vivian Barnhill; his children, Kim Weatherley (Troy) of Roe, Jesse Barnhill Jr. (Angela) of Hazen and Amy Ferebee of DeValls Bluff; and his brothers, John Barnhill (Patricia) of Michigan and Lester Barnhill (Bev) of Michigan. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many great friends.
