She was predeceased by: her parents, Abbie Jenkins and Wilma Jenkins (Jones); her son Ricky Taylor; her granddaughter Wendy Michelle Taylor; and her siblings, Harold Jenkins and Catharine McWhorter.
She is survived by: her husband Cecil Taylor; her children, Malinda Richards (Eddie), Debbie Stidham (Ray), Steven Taylor (JoAnn) and Bryan Taylor (Keena); and her siblings, Troy Jenkins, Charles Jenkins and Francis Martin. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
