He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilburn Hayes and Jessie Odell Walker (Sadler); his wife Mary Walker; his brother Charles Walker; his half-brother James Merritt; and his nephew Mike Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Maki (Kristi) and Terry Steele; his granddaughters, Morgan, Hannah, Rachel and Becca; his nieces, Jan Fuller (Donald) and Debbie Morris (Mike); his nephew David Walker; and his sister-in-law Sally Walker. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, along with many friends.
