It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Bedford Calhoun of Des Arc, Arkansas, who passed away on August 9, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rabern E. Calhoun and Mary Ethel Calhoun; his wife Ila Jean Calhoun (Morton); his nephews, Mark and Dickie; and his siblings, C. A. Calhoun, V. O. Calhoun, Raymond Calhoun, Anna Bell Patterson and Chlotin Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Holland (Billy Wayne) and Keith Calhoun (Michele); his grandchildren, Robyn Watts (Chastin), Tanner Calhoun (Haley Jo), Emily Holland, Seth Moore and Bailey Staton (Grant); and his great grandchildren, Owen, Brady, Bailey Grace, Zane, Cason, Tyler and Robert Dean.
