She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hudson and Hattie Hudson (Evans); her husband Melvin Brown; and her daughter Joy Branham. She is survived by: her children, Patti and James Brown; and her sisters, Janie Rogers and Ann Evans. She is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
