It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mae Brill of Des Arc, Arkansas, born in Hickory Plains, Arkansas, who passed away on May 3, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Hartzog and Hazel M. Hartzog; her husband Dennis Brill; her daughter Mitzi Markel; her sister Frances Montgomery; and her son David Brill.
She is survived by: her daughters, Delise Markel-York (Ed) of Des Arc, Betty Lynn Markel of Des Arc and Kimberly Boyer of Des Arc; her niece Pat Hester of Jonesboro, Arkansas.; her grandchildren, Aaron Pyle of Akron, Lyndle Seaman (Jen) of Wray, Erin Seaman of Warrenville, Wesley Boyer (Lexi) of Akron, Maeve Clites (James) of Des Arc and Becky McDowell (Kevin) of Amherst; and her great grandchildren, Lillyana, Ashtyn, London Boyer, Silas Seaman and Lucy Clites.
