He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Franklin Sheffield and Uberta Spradlin Sheffield; his daughters, Cathy Sheffield and Patricia Sheffield; and his brother John Anthony Sheffield.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Sheffield of Dermott, AR; and his children, Johnny Sheffield (Janell) of Bullard, TX, Virginia Sheffield of Phoenix, AZ, Lena Sheffield Rauls of Lake Village, AR and Jamie Sheffield Ladd of Searcy, AR. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
