He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reverend John Hudson and Leola Boyd Hudson; his brother Johnny Hudson; his wife Patsy Ruth Akins; his son David Hudson; his children-in-law, Lisa (Richard Hudson) of Bell, Marchene (Deborah Chestnut) of Bell, Walter Edwards (Rebecca Thomas) of Cleveland Tennessee, Hugh (Joseph Hudson) of Bell and Tiffany of Elko Georgia; his grandchildren, Major Joe Chestnut, Amanda Ward, Hannah Allen, Dr. Lauren Hudson, Dr. Quentin Hudson, Garrett Hudson, Austin Thomas, Brandon Hudson, Abigail Thomas, Audrey Thomas, Sydney Hudson and Hailee Hudson; his great grandchildren, Alexus Ward, Brianna Chestnut, Samuel Ward, Finley Allen, Dylan Chestnut, Maylen Allen and Zeb Thomas; and also, Patricia and Sheryl. He was also cherished by his many friends and family.
