It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thelma Ann Smith-McDonald of Decatur, Arkansas, born in Isabella, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Lester Smith; her husband George McDonald; her sons, L. D. Smith and Nickie Smith; her granddaughter Brandy Pool; and her siblings, Clarence, Victor, Alfred, Frank, Chester Koehn, Claire Warner and Ella Rena Hubble.

She is survived by: her children, Dolly Pool of Decatur, Glenda McCully of Southwest City, Missouri and Byron Smith of Exeter, Missouri; and her stepson Michael McDonald of Decatur, Arkansas. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
