He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marlin Cothran and Freda Horne; his wife Sandra Kay Cothran; his siblings, Freda Faye Wellington, Marlene Schott (Haney) and Donald Cothran of Brownwood, Texas; and his children, Ron Cothran Jr. of Pueblo, Michael Cothran of Kalispell, Montana and Deborah Austin of Collegedale, Tennessee. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
