He was predeceased by: his father Jap Croslin Mitchell; and his siblings, Elvin Mitchell and Ramona Moss. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Blaylock; his sons, Richard D. Mitchell and Bryan Mitchell (Robin); his siblings, JC Mitchell, Gary Wayne Mitchell (Kathy), Randy Mitchell, Peggy Babb, Carrol Arnold, Elaine Rayburn and Sharon Pruitt (James); his grandchildren, Doug Mitchell (Katrina), Trent Mitchell and Brianna Crews (Skyler); and his sister-in-law Mary Cooper.
