She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Buie Dodson and Lottie Wilson Dodson. She is survived by: her husband Samuel; and her sons, Morris Herod of Decatur and Drew Herod (Delana) of Plumerville. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
