He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest P. Austin and Edna Peterson Austin. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughter Lindsey Deschaine of Bella Vista, Arkansas; his granddaughter Zoie Deschaine of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and his siblings, Wanda Tormey (James) of Decatur and Vernon Austin (Judy) of Decatur. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
