It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Leroy Stephens of Decatur, Arkansas, who passed away at the age of 89, on June 25, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Stephens and Emmeline Stephens (Cargile); his wife Mary Ruth Stephens; his son Jimmy Leroy Stephens; his granddaughter Jennifer Stephens; and his siblings, Junior, Paul, Larry, Maxine Leuellen and Mary Ann Finney.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Stephens (Kathy) of Decatur, Arkansas and Norma McCullough (Fred, Jr.) of Bentonville, Arkansas; his daughter-in-law Frankie Stephens of Gravette, Arkansas; and his siblings, Irene Williams of Grove, Oklahoma, Robert Stephens (Mary) of Pineville and Joe Stephens (Jan) of Seneca, Missouri. He is also survived by five grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
Leroy enjoyed looking up Stephens genealogy and would organize a Stephens reunion every year, until covid.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations be made to the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas, in care of the funeral home.
