It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Quinton Jerome Taggart (De Queen, Arkansas), who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Taggart and Marvin Taggart; and his siblings, Helen, Leo, Bobby, Lynn and Jerry.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his daughters, Quincie Grant (Anthony), Teresa Parmley (Eric) and Amy Purifoy (Jon); his grandchildren, Brad Parmley (Megan), Logan Grant (Mallory), Callie Green (Will), Paige Rabb (Drew), Kaylee Purifoy and Brooke Purifoy (Kaden Benge); and his great grandchildren, Michael Eugene, Annabelle Grace, Samuel Tagg Parmley, Clyde Griffin Grant, William Tagg and Ann Quincie Green.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Mount Ida Cemetery (1962 AR-329, De Queen, AR 71832).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Boys and Girls Club of Fayetteville, First Baptist Church De Queen, or The Farmington Senior Center.
