She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Strayer and Ruby Lindstrom Strayer; her sister Beverley Strayer; and her former husband Gerald Socash. She is survived by: her husband Wesley Arrington of De Queen; her siblings, Michael Strayer of Morrisdale, Steve Strayer of Florida, Olive Strayer of Chicago and Billie Jo (Jim French) of Ramey, Pennsylvania; and her children, Jerri Lee (Alvin Way) of Phillipsburg, Cristal (Bruce Jernigan) of El Dorado, Candy (James Nishida) of Shawville, Pennsylvania and Michael (Carolyn Socash) of De Queen. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews family and friends.
