He was predeceased by: his wife Bettye Jane Waits Ray; his parents, Robert Earl and Eleanor Mary Dickinson Ray; his son Michael W. Ray; and his siblings, Dwayne Ray, Robert L. Ray, Roy C. Ray and Betty Louis Ray.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick (Cindy Ray), Timothy Lee (Shelly Ray), Mark Wesley Ray of De Queen and Molly Jane Grant of Northglenn, Colorado. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
