He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen David and Bertha Mae Owens Lacefield; his son Steve Lacefield; his siblings, Billy, Junior, Hubert, R. C. Lacefield, Dorothy Lawson, Verna Webster and Linnie Bell Griffin; and his granddaughters, Sheena Lacefield and Heather Lacefield.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Gynell Jester Lacefield; his sons, Danny (Melissa Lacefield), Kenny (Cathy Lacefield) and Andy (Sally Lacefield); his sister Lola Barkmon of Beaumont, Texas; and his grandchildren, Hayli, Jennifer, Jaisee, Josh, Michael, Cory, Anthony, Shawn and Blake. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
