He is survived by: his wife Hilda Lerma Chaparro of De Queen; his children, Mauro Rogelio Lerma of De Queen, Kialen Lerma of De Queen, Diana Lerma (Antonio Rueles) of Texarkana and Luz Elizabeth Lerma (Mario Chaparro) of Fort Worth, Texas; his grandchildren, Alexander, Alan, Myrka, Mauro, Brianna and Jaime; and his siblings, Ofelia Lerma Moreno of Mexico, Rosalva Lerma Moreno of Mexico, Ruben Lerma Moreno of De Queen, Arnoldo Lerma Moreno of De Queen, Jose Edilberto of Mexico, Olivia Lerma Moreno of Mexico, Adelaida Lerma Moreno of Mexico, Oscar Lerma Moreno of Mexico, Maximo Lerma Moreno of Mexico and Adriana Lerma Moreno of Mexico.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the St. Barbara Catholic Church (502 Dequeen Ave, De Queen, AR 71832). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Monsignor Scott Friend Pastoral Center at the St Barbara Catholic Church (502 Dequeen Ave, De Queen, AR 71832).
