He is survived by: his daughter Sheila Sampsel of De Queen; his granddaughters, Jana Evans (Colin) of California and Gena Marie Elam of Indiana; his great grandchildren, Landon Evans of California, Natalie Elam of Indiana, Marissa Elam of Indiana, Danielle Elam of Indiana and Brandon Elam of Indiana; and his siblings, Dorvin Pettigrew of Oregon and Leona Hanson of California. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends.
