He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin A. Birdsong and Opal Mae Pressley Birdsong; his brother Jimmie Birdsong; and his sister-in-law Louise Birdsong. He is survived by: his wife Nina Wilson Birdsong of De Queen; his son Denny; his daughter-in-law Lisa Birdsong of Prosper; his daughter Trena; his son-in-law Shannon Roberts of De Queen; his grandchildren, Austin Vaden of Lubbock and Lexi Birdsong of Prosper, Texas; his niece Leona Robb of Hatton, Arkansas; and his nephews, Duane Dixon of Houston, Jeff Birdsong of Haworth and Jerry Birdsong of Edgewood.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home (1015 W Collin Raye Dr, De Queen, AR 71832). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel (1015 W Collin Raye Dr, De Queen, AR 71832).
