He is survived by: his children, Mike Avey (Julie) of Casa and Susie Faulkner (Eddie) of Pottsville; his sisters, Victorine Noblett, Margaret Langston, Ruth Robinson, Willie Mae Sanders, Ida Carol Chambers and Mary Francis Snider; his grandchildren, Michelle Battles (Jerry), Mark Avey, Lynne Case (Bo), Adam Runnells (Melissa), Mike Price, Sara Reddell and Seth Faulkner (Leslie); and also Brittany Melton. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
