He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Adrian and Ilena Davis Waid; and his sister Ladonna Plumb. He is survived by: his son Edgar "Hootie"; his daughter-in-law Misty Henson; his daughter Michelle Lynne; his son-in-law Lonnie Hicks; and his brothers, Gary Lee Waid and Derek Gene (Jody Waid). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Shinn Chapel (800 W Main St, Russellville, AR 72802). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the Elizabeth Hall Cemetery.
