He was predeceased by: his father Leon Underwood; and his siblings, Leon Underwood, Jr., Susan Underwood and Lisa Wesley. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Pledger Underwood; his wife Elizabeth D. Bailey Underwood; his daughter Julia Underwood (Kyle Hanson); his brothers, Steve (Elaine Underwood), Travis (Suzie Underwood) and Josh Wesley; his grandchildren, Elizabella Marie Underwood, Christine Evelyn Dawn Hanson and Soren John Loyd Hanson; his pet Ozzie; and also, Johnny, Marie Norris, Tony, Melissa Norris, Rich, Shannon Bailey, James, Amanda Bailey, Monica Norris and Sherri Bailey. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cornwell Funeral Chapel (207 Quay St, Dardanelle, AR 72834). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Delaware First Baptist Church (26401 State Hwy 22, Delaware, AR 72835).
