He was predeceased by: his parents, Zenas Smith Sr. and Nellene Smith (Chester Harold Haney); his children, Grace and Shawntele; and his sister Ruth Ann Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Joan "Pinky" Martin; his children, Shaneice Perkins, Victoria Dotson (Patrick), Alpha Martin, Sacha Martin, Jermey "Chucky" Martin, Alyssia Taylor (Alan), Shelby Redden (Detarius) and Jeri Lelah Henriksen; and his siblings, Peggy Mason, Zenas Smith Jr., Annie Todd, Zenas "Lynn" Smith, Gloria Smith, Connie Hand, Eddie Haney and La Donna Haney. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild; numerous, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
