He is survived by: his daughters, Charlsey "Charlie" Wheeler (Matt) and Sara Thompson (Jeff); his grandchildren, Lexi Mitchell, Billy Case Mitchell, Rip Wheeler, Jackson Wheeler, Maycee Wheeler and Campbell Wheeler; his sister Nancy Ryan (Richard); and his close friend Brad Drye (Marcia). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
