He was predeceased by: his son Wayne Sides; his parents, Linnie Belle Sides (Hall) and John Lovic Sides; and his sister Verna Etoile Serrell (Sides). He is survived by: his wife Joan Winchell Sides; and his daughters, Patricia Sides (Dennis Davis) and Carol Sides (Glenn Prentice). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
