He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Addie Self Norton; his son Ray Norton; his grandson Seth Norton; and his siblings, Jettie NcNew, Gladys Driver, Bob, Harmon, Jimmy, Pete and Frank Norton.
He is survived by: his wife Opal Norton; and his sons, Ted Norton Jr. of Midland and James Norton (Kim) of Dardanelle. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
