He is survived by: his parents, Robert Henry Gutierrez and Maria Cisneros; and his brothers, Angel Gutierrez of Oahu and Adam Gutierrez (Mary Lou) of Kappa Kauai, Hawaii. He is also survived by five nephews and six nieces.
