It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Stapleton of Danville, Arkansas, born in Belleville, Arkansas, who passed away on September 15, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stapleton and Edith Lampkin Stapleton; his wife EffieGene; and his siblings, A. L. Stapleton (Whick) and Frances Stapleton.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Stapleton (Renee) of Mount Ida, LaJean Wilson (Chuck) of Danville, Lisa Sponel (David) of Dardanelle, Sheila Trusty (Jim Bob) of Danville and Kim Foster (Marvin) of Russellville; his grandchildren, Chip Wilson of Springdale, CaraJean Loyd (Matt) of Springdale, Marissa Mourot (Mitch) of Morrilton, Jay Trusty (Leah) of Russellville, Andrea Ball (Ben) of Louisville, Lindsay James (Jeremiah) of Jonesboro, Chance Packard (Ashley) of Hot Springs and Drew Packard (Kristi) of Bentonville; and his sisters-in-law, Corine Stapleton, Mary Morris, Carolyn Morris, Willa Morris Kennedy and Susie Morris Harter. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, loving nieces and nephews.
