He was predeceased by: his son David Wayne McGowan; and his sister Kathy Hillard. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Freeman (Billy) and John McGowan (Macie); and his siblings, Debra McGowan (Felipe), Barbara McGowan (Rick), Mary Horn (John), David A. McGowan (Heather) and Victor McGowan. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
