He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete McGinty and Arlie Cardin McGinty; his wife Ruth McGinty; his siblings, Tommy McGinty and Jettie Moreland; and his great grandchildren, BJ Ogden and William Hamrick.
He is survived by: his children, Perry McGinty (Connie), Gary McGinty, Joan Brown, Billie Jean McGinty and Joyce Johnson; his sisters, Judy Zellner (Bill) and Carolyn Coney (Jerry); his daughter Bertha Pate Warren; and his grandsons, Kyle Firestone, Jon McGinty, Avery McGinty, Nathan Kay, Justin Barnard, Jackson and Gavin Simone. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren and the mother.
