He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Winfrey and Juanita Winfrey; his daughter Pam Stevenson; and his grandsons, Trevor and Tyler Martinez.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Martinez; and his children, Dustin Martinez (Kasie), Tanya Baggett (Josh), Regina Gardner (Ricky), Steve Martinez (Marla) and John Martinez (Alissa). He is also survived by nieces; nephews; family and friends.
