She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Ed and Nancy Burroughs; her husband James Clarence Carpenter (Toby); her son Doyle Gene Carpenter; and her brothers, Cotton, Ralph, Junior, Ray, Lester and JC Burroughs.
She is survived by: her children, Darrel Dewayne (Debbie Carpenter) of Quitman, Linda Lou Stithem (Bret) of Rabbit Ridge, Toby Dee Carpenter (Ruth Ann) of Gravesville, Jody Don Carpenter (Denice) of Gravesville and Denny Ray Carpenter (Tina) of Bee Branch. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Sand Springs Cemetery (5189 AR-124, Damascus, AR 72039).
