He was predeceased by: his parents, Finis Jester and Ermia Jester; his wife Doris Jester (Deaton); and his siblings, Wilburn, Clarence, Clinton Jester, Retha Wells, Bennie Sue Batchelder, Lucille Purifoy, Lyvone Crosley and Geraldine Francis.
He is survived by: his children, Steve (Elease) of Gonzales, Alan of Richwoods, Gary of Prescott, Arkansas, Jannette Burke and Anita Dixon; and his siblings, James of Arkadelphia, Arkansas and Freda Vanlandingham (Wallace) of Hot Springs, Arkansas.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; along with a huge number of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
