He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Wilbur and Eddie Lee Kelley Hendrix. He is survived by: his wife Leah Griffin Hendrix; his children, Sarah Hendrix (Alex Browning) and Max Hendrix (Morgan Rogers); his sisters, Margaret Barnett (Jerry) and Susan Doss (James); and his aunt Remona Hisaw. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
