He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Rufus Moran and Lonar Lee Goodwin Moran; his wife Doris Stanley Smith Moran; and his siblings, Roger Dale, Charles William, Kenneth Glenn, Tennie Ellen Watkins, Norma Lee Reynolds and Libby Dison.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Danny Smith of Hamburg, AR, Gayle Scroggins (Craig) of Little Rock, AR, Lavon Smith (Jeni) of Atlanta, GA and Virgil Smith (Amanda) of Lacey, AR; his siblings, James Edward Moran of Texarkana, TX, Carolyn Pratt of Bastrop, LA, Charlotte Wilcoxon of Crossett, AR, Sherry Nichols of West Monroe, LA and Sheryl Kathy Barnett (Dennis) of Crossett, AR; and his sister-in-law Donnie Moran of Hamburg, AR. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trinity Freewill Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
