It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Dewayne Walley of Crossett, Arkansas, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on September 19, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Walley and Barbara Ruth Smith Walley; his stepmother Evelyn "Jan" Walley; and his brother James Curtis Walley. He is survived by: his wife Lori Coplin Walley of Crossett; his children, Kaitlyn White (Natalie) of Selmer, TN, Destiny "RooRoo" Wallace (Blake) of Osceola, AR and Cody Lane Walley (Anna Beth) of Crossett; his grandsons, Trey Ebarb of Crossett and Jeremy Slaughter (Natasha) of Texas; his sisters, Diane Jennings of Lepanto, AR, Susan Taylor of Keiser, AR, Judy McKay (Kenny) of Lepanto, AR and Gwendolyn Watkins (Bill) of Osceola, AR; his sister-in-law Lisha Walley of Crossett; and his grandchildren, Emalyn Walley, Ryleigh Wallace, Layton Walley and Eli Walley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Medders Funeral Home (1564 State Hwy 52 W, Crossett, AR 71635). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
