She was predeceased by: her parents, LaRon Smith and Juanita Watkins Smith; and her brother Jimmy Smith. She is survived by: her husband Homer Courson; her daughter Angela Murphy of Crossett; her stepson Chad Courson (Sara) of San Angelo, Texas; her sisters, Allene Carter of Crossett and Ann McKenzie (Gus) of Crossett; her grandchildren, Allison Murphy and Dylan Murphy (Melissa); her stepgrandsons, Caleb Thomas and Nathan Thomas; her great grandchildren, Greyson Murphy, Aiden Murphy and Addison Hatcher; and her nieces, Carol Rickman (Dennis), TeeJay McKenzie and Debbi Jones.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel (302 E Lincoln St, Hamburg, AR 71646).
