He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Zimrie and Natoma Gilbert Stell; his wife Mary Stell; his siblings, Dorothy Fox, Garland and Jack Stell; and his siblings-in-law, Floyd and Helen Sturdivant.

He is survived by: his children, Sherri Rice (Ricky) of Crossett, AR, Kim Salonek (Jeff) of Crossett, AR and Bobby Stell (Kristi) of Perryville, MO; his grandchildren, Phillip, Cortney, Anna, Aaron, Hunter, Kaygan, Karlyle, Kyndall and Bo; his sister Carolyn Berryman (Ron) of Fountain Hill, AR; and his pets, Cocoa and Winston. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
