He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Blake and Mittie Cross Blake; his children, Thomas Mays Sr. and Cleatrice Smith; his siblings, Willie Sr., Samuel, Clarence Blake, Roberta Washington, Mae Ella McClain, Beatrice Newsom, Laurene Mays, Helen Bailey and Belandris Box; and his stepgrandson Nathaniel Adam.
He is survived by: his sister Pearlie Mae Hubbard; his stepchildren, Cleophus Ward St. Louis of Missouri, Michael Adams Chicago Ill and Earlene Hollins of Crossett Ar; and his grandchildren, Thomas Mayes Jr., Tresha Medina, Thomecia Washington (Kenneth), Evelyn Burnett, Angela Smith, Kathy Cherry, Valerie Smith, Tonya Brown, Taffany Hampton (David), Cassandra Isabelle and Michael Adam Jr..
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel (105 W 3rd Ave, Crossett, AR 71635). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church (3011 Porter Jasper Rd, Crossett, AR 71635).
