It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mershal Dean Carpenter of Crossett, Arkansas, who passed away on July 16, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshal Carpenter and Esther Carpenter; and his siblings, Clotene Carpenter, Ronnie Carpenter, Garland Carpenter, Kenny Carpenter and Randal Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Faye Carpenter of Crossett; his daughters, Shela Upshaw of Crossett and Anita Stanley (Mike) of Hamburg; his brother Jimmy Carpenter (Barbara) of Fountain Hill; his grandchildren, James Martin III (Alexis) of Bryant, Cassi Logue (Kevin) of Crossett and Makai Sinclair (Easton) of Hamburg; and his great grandchildren, Kirsten, Jaylen, Bensen, Braylee, Malachi and Gauge.
