He was predeceased by: his daughter Shaffie Miller; his parents, Virgil Miller and Alzora Harris Miller; and his siblings, Elijah, Virgil Jr., John L., Andrew, L. V. Miller, Jeanette Miller, Elizabeth Cobb, Grace Mae Brock and Erma Jean Perry.
He is survived by: his children, Marlon Gilliam of Ft. Worth, TX, Larry Miller, Jr. of Crossett, AR, Talisha Simpson of Crossett, AR and Lareisha Lewis of San Leandro, CA; and his siblings, Lee Marvin (Tonya Miller) of Hamburg, AR, Jerry of Crossett, AR, Nathaniel Miller of Crossett, AR, Etherine Davis of Dumas, AR, Verdell Briso and Janice Murphy (Juanita Miller). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Cromwell Funeral Home (600 E St Louis St, Hamburg, AR 71646). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (404 W Long St, Hamburg, AR 71646).
